Chapter 2

The`first civilizations were from 3500 BCE to 3000 BCE

• for the first time people were escaping from civilization. 

Civilization was a total new type of society

• there was a lot of agricultural productivity.

Civilization in a sense determines what is happening

*Religion, slavery, sculptures, culture etc are all examples of things that happened during civilization.

Civilization was formed in the Nile River valley and it was a Egyptian civilization 

Indus civilization was larger then Mesopotamia. They did not have any place of worship or even any form of graves.

However the early civilization of china was the opposite.

*The had a place of worship

*had the Zhou dynasty

*new form of writing using oracle bones.

Central Asia also was considered one of the first civilizations.
